Midnight Sun course
Comenius courses in Inari Lapland since 2006
The next "Midnight Sun" Comenius 2 course for eJournalism invites teachers, head teachers and other educators from Europe to come to Inari, Lapland, in June this year. The teacher-in-service training of the participants is funded by the EU.
The courses about project-based eLearning take place in Inari, the Finnish Lapland, since 2006. The venue of the course are the premises of SOGSAKK, the Sàmi Education institute. About twol hundreds of teachers and headteachers from all over Europe have been trained in the Midnight Sun courses.
The contents of the courses correspond to the most challenging demands of international project work of schools, including Comenius projects and global educational collaboration. Participants learn to use eJournal in both spoken and written communication and achieve competence in tutoring students in international projects.
